While Kate Middleton paid a visit to London’s Royal Opera House on Wednesday, Jan. 16, her sister-in-law Meghan Markle instead spent her day on her first official visit to London’s Mayhew Animal Home & Humane Education Centre. And, in new pics from the Duchess of Sussex’s outing, pregnant Meghan’s growing baby bump was on full display!

Meghan, 37, looked gorgeous in a beige Armani coat as she arrived at Mayhew, an organization that is all about improving the lives of animals and people in the local community. The Animal Home & Humane Education Centre is actually one of Prince Harry‘s wife’s new royal patronages — an especially perfect pairing since Meghan loves dogs and other animals!

Kensington Palace recently announced that Meghan became the patron of four different charities — one of which was Mayhew! — on Jan. 10. Here’s Meghan waving hello to some locals while arriving at the London center.

It’s clear from the photos of her visit that Meghan enjoyed learning all about the charity’s numerous initiatives.

Meghan also spoke to some of the residents there who informed her about how the charity has helped them through pet therapy.
