Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is giving us all the inside details about her royal nuptials to Prince Harry in May 2018. In a recording the couple made for their Windsor Castle exhibit A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, she recalls everything that went into planning the wedding of the century.

“A great level of detail went into the planning of our wedding day,” Meghan, 37, said on the recording. “We knew how large the scale of the event would be, so in making choices that were really personal and meaningful, it could make the whole experience feel intimate.”

Approximately 600 people were invited to Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan’s royal wedding — with millions more watching it on TV. Not only did the former Suits actress look beautiful in the silk wedding dress designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, but Harry, 34, also looked very strapping in the Household Cavalry uniform.

“I chose the frock coat as a uniform, with permission from my grandmother, because I think it’s one of the smartest Household Cavalry uniforms,” Harry said about the outfit, designed by Dege & Skinner. “It’s one of my favorites, and I was very fortunate to be able to wear that on the day.”

Vogue‘s editor in chief, Anna Wintour, also approved of Meghan and Harry’s wedding attire. “I think she’s amazing and the royal wedding had the whole world watching and I think that her choice was brilliant,” Anne previously said in a video series called Go Ask Anna.

“It was sophisticated. It was chic. It was grown-up,” the editrix continued. “It was an English designer, albeit one that was working for a French house, which in a way was a message to the world: Yes, I’m from somewhere else, but I belong.”

We’re so excited to see Harry and Meghan’s wedding exhibit at Windsor Castle!
