Next year is going to be a great year! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed on May 19, and ever since they said "I do," the two have been out and about just about every week. Most recently, they embarked on a trip to Ireland for two days and in October, they take their first tour together to Australia and New Zealand.
But the royal couple is also allegedly gearing up for another big trip to take place in the spring of 2019 — and that's to the US! "They are so excited to head to the US," a source told Us Weekly in a new interview. "Meghan is looking forward to introducing Harry to everything she loves about the US."
Although the details of their trip are not yet set in stone, "they are thinking New York, Washington, DC, and California," the insider shared. "They’re working to finalize locations and venues."
Meghan and Harry reportedly have an agenda for when they touch down in America, however. "Meghan and Harry want to solidify ties between the U.K. and the US," the source added. "They want to highlight and foster these relationships." On top of that, the duo will visit San Francisco where "they will meet with CEOs and female tech entrepreneurs to encourage their involvement in the industry."
Although Meghan is from Canada, she used to work on the American TV show Suits. That said, she has a lot of friends and colleagues from the country! According to the news outlet, Meghan is planning a separate trip to the US without Harry before next year.
"She’s planning a personal, unofficial trip this summer to see family and friends," the source added. "She’ll go to New York, then LA." Is it too soon to book our flights?!
