Prince Harry Jokes He "Can't Hide" Girlfriend Meghan Markle in Public

This is so cute! During a royal outing on Thursday, Nov. 9, Prince Harry joked to a fan that he “can’t hide” his stunning girlfriend, Meghan Markle, when the pair steps out in public together. According to People, British veteran Matt Weston, 28, dared to ask Harry about his romance with Meghan while speaking to the prince at a Remembrance Day ceremony in London.

“I took the mickey and asked where his missus was and he said she wasn’t here,” Weston allegedly told reporters. “I asked if she would come next time because she’s awesome, and he said he couldn’t hide her anywhere — but I said you wouldn’t have to hide her.” Weston added, “I would love to meet [Meghan] — I think she’s very cool. He’s a very lucky man and she’s brilliant.”

Though Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, haven’t been spotted out in public very often since getting together in summer 2016, the two made major headlines when they attended the Invictus Games together just a few months ago. “I asked [Harry] how his girlfriend was enjoying [the event] and he said, ‘She loves it, she’s loving the games,’ which is awesome,” a royal fan revealed at the time. Perhaps the most exciting part of Harry and Meghan’s Invictus Games outing was that they were adorably photographed holding hands and even kissing — so sweet!

While the world still patiently awaits the news of a royal engagement between Meghan and Harry, the Suits star recently spoke out about her romance with Prince William’s brother — and admitted they’re “really happy and in love!” She told Vanity Fair, “[Our relationship] has its challenges, and it comes in waves. Some days it can feel more challenging than others. And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed. But I still have this support system all around me, and of course, my boyfriend’s support. I can tell you that at the end of the day I think it’s really simple. We’re two people who are really happy and in love.”
