Meghan Markle Had the Best Response to Being Asked If She’d Get Married to Prince Harry…

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding together last month, speculation that the couple might soon get engaged has hit fever pitch — but it seems that the actress is playing it cool in the face of such intense speculation.

Appearing at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas with her Suits co-stars three weeks after attending Pippa’s nuptials, Meghan, 35, was asked by one very direct reporter if she had hopes of getting married to Harry, 32.

Her response? Maintaining a dignified silence, albeit with a smile, demonstrating a level of poise worthy of any royal.

Her co-star Rick Hoffman also appeared to allude to her high-profile relationship when he joked that Meghan — who plays Rachel Zane on Suits — should read part of her script in a British accent, prompting blushes and a laugh from the actress and cheers from the audience.

During the panel discussion, Meghan revealed that she thought of her co-stars as “family,” explaining, “We were in a group email the other day and I was saying we’d all lived in the same corporate housing so on top of working together we were living together which makes a whole different dynamic, I think. We just became this whole family right out the gate.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the festival, Meghan’s co-star and onscreen love interest Patrick J. Adams revealed that he was “very, very happy” for his friend.

“Meghan and I have been such good friends for years now and to see her so happy is great. She’s super excited. I’m super happy for her and she’s been such a pro in this season and it’s going so well,” he said, before revealing that he was willing to “put in the hours” with the producers in order to snag a Suits cameo appearance for Prince Harry. “I’m sure it’s super easy and uncomplicated,” he joked.
