Just because Meghan Markle is the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t mean she’s not having the normal struggles of a pregnancy. The newly minted royal is currently on a tour overseas with her husband, Prince Harry, and during day four of their trip in Sydney, Australia on Friday, Oct. 19, she allegedly opened up to a local about the difficulties she’s been experiencing with a baby on board.

“Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag,” Charlotte Connell, 35 —  who is also expecting — said, Sky News reported. “She said she was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn’t sleep.”

Meghan has always been a lover of yoga (her mother, Doria Ragland, is an instructor after all!). “Yoga is my thing,” the mommy-to-be previously told Best Health Magazine. “My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven.” She added, “I was very resistant as a kid. But she said, ‘Flower, you will find your practice – just give it time.’ In college, I started doing it more regularly.”

Meg and Harry previously confirmed the big news on Monday, Oct. 15, and shortly after, In Touch revealed that the 37-year-old is “in the early stages of pregnancy” and “still in the first trimester.”

That said, she’s reportedly still experiencing morning sickness — and particularly didn’t feel well at Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Oct. 12. “She was even feeling sick, morning sickness, the day of Princess Eugenie’s wedding and there was talk that she may not make it to the ceremony. Of course, that never would have happened, unless it was an emergency. She had to attend or the speculation of what was wrong with the Duchess would have been overwhelming and utter chaos,” a source revealed to the news outlet. We’re just hoping Meg feels good enough to finish out their 16-day tour!
