The results are in! According to a new report, Meghan Markle has been named the most beautiful royal over her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton. London surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva used the “Golden Ratio” — a mathematical equation devised by the Ancient Greeks to measure beauty — to determine which British royal has the most perfect-looking facial features.

De Silva told the Daily Mail that Meghan scored 87.4 percent while Kate scored 86.8 percent on the test, proving the Suits star has a more classic, aesthetically pleasing visage. De Silva’s comparison also included Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie, who landed in third, fourth, and fifth place, respectively.

“Meghan and Kate both really stood out and got significantly higher marks than the three other princesses. Meghan has beautiful facial symmetry and gets closer than any other princess to having what the Greeks considered the perfect face,” De Silva shared. “Meghan has an almost perfectly shaped nose with a 98.5 percent score, her eye position is exactly right, and her gorgeous V-shaped chin is far more classically beautiful than Kate’s.”

He continued, “Kate gets a very high rating, too, and stands out for having a perfect gap between her nose and lips and very strong eye spacing. The other three princesses all received high scores but were a little further away from Golden Ratio perfection than Meghan and Kate.” Though Meghan and Kate’s comparison was a fun little beauty test, we, of course, know that both of Prince Harry and Prince William‘s ladies are stunningly beautiful in their own ways. We can’t wait for Meghan to officially join the royal family in May — we’re sure she and Kate will be forever friends!
