Meghan Markle‘s father, Thomas Markle, noticeably hasn’t been able to keep his mouth shut in the media. And while he appears to not have his little girl’s best interest in mind, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, seemingly does. In fact, according to Daily Mail, she’s actually “preparing to move to Britain” to be closer to her daughter and Prince Harry.

The news outlet reported that she could be relocating as soon as next month and she is “beside herself with excitement.” The source shared, “She is getting ready to move to London. I think she will be going as soon as possible. I know that she was eager to live closer to her daughter.”

The insider added, “She also fell in love with England and told me when she got back that it’s somewhere she believes she too could happily live.”

Perhaps that’s why Doria decided to quit her jobs ahead of her daughter’s nuptials. “Doria is no longer working at the mental health clinic in the LA area. It was Doria’s decision to leave. She has talked about starting her own private practice, focusing on working with elderly patients,” a source close to Meghan’s mom revealed to Us Weekly prior to the May 19 royal wedding.

And while Doria is excited about the alleged move, we bet Meghan, 36, can’t wait to have her mother by her side as well. “Doria is part of the package,” an insider previously revealed to Woman’s Day. “Meghan can’t imagine not having her mom close by and she wants her to experience royal life and the adventure she’s about to embark on. They’re very close. Besides, [Harry] gets on great with her mom
and thinks it can only enhance his relationship with Meghan
if she has her mother nearby.” We’re so happy for Meghan!
