It looks like even royals have to deal with pesky in-laws! Prince Harry may have spent millions of pounds renovating a 21-room apartment in Kensington Palace for his new bride, Meghan Markle, but that doesn’t mean he wants to rent one of them out to her mother, Doria Ragland

The 62-year-old yoga instructor quit her job at a mental health clinic in LA before the royal wedding, and now she plans to move across the pond to be closer to her daughter. “Harry doesn’t mind Meghan’s mom staying with them for a couple of weeks until she finds a place of her own, but only as a short-term solution,” a palace insider revealed to Life & Style.

“Harry adores Doria and is happy that she’s moving to London to keep Meghan company, but the idea of them all living under the same roof is just too much to take on,” the insider continued. The newlyweds’ honeymoon phase was already cut short by the American actress’ infuriating father, Thomas Markle, and estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle.

Sadly, the angry pair continues to lash out at Britain’s royal family, calling them “cold” and “cult-like” in interviews and even comparing the redheaded royal to a hamster on his recent 34th birthday. Most recently, Samantha claimed that people were trying to bug her house in attempts to monitor what she says about the royal family.

With all of these unpleasant outside distractions, it seems the last thing the pair needs is another one of Meghan’s family members getting in the way of their quality time. “Meghan and Harry are looking to purchase a townhouse in London for Doria,” the insider added, “so that they can have their own space.” Here’s hoping everything works out for the happy couple and that Doria has no hard feelings!
