With the royal wedding right around the corner, Meghan Markle is literally a skip away from the moment she can call Prince Harry her husband. But the actress reportedly has a bone to pick with the man that used to hold that title. Apparently, Meghan recently met up with her ex-husband Trevor Engelson in the hopes of getting him to hold off on creating a TV show inspired by her new royal life.
Fans will remember that Meghan's Hollywood producer first hubby was developing a TV sitcom with Fox about a divorced American mother who moves to London to marry a British royal. Sub in the kids with dogs named Guy and Bogart and it's a story that sounds very familiar!
Now, according to The Sun, Trevor's vision may not become a reality. "Trevor's project is currently on hold after several months of anguish for Meghan. She reached out to him at first through friends and now they have kept up the pressure and Trevor has pushed things back," a source revealed.
Trevor, 41, was married to the Suits actress from 2011 until 2013. Last year, the director was reportedly inspired with the sitcom's concept after chatting with producer Dan Farrah. The pair joked about what would have happened if he and Meghan had shared a child together.

Trevor, who dated Meghan for several years before they married, has claimed his TV character is purely fictional and doesn't draw from his romance to the future royal. Guess we'll just have to see if Trevor goes through with the project in the future!
