Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Wish Prince Louis a Happy First Birthday — See the Sweet Comment!

Happy 1st birthday, Prince Louis! In honor of the little royal bundle of joy turning 1 year old, Kensington Palace took to Instagram to share a loving tribute to the adorable youngster. Among the sweet remarks that flooded the comment section was a heartwarming birthday wish from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us xo,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s comment read along with a birthday cake and balloon emoji. The post shared by Kensington Palace included an adorable birthday portrait of the little prince, which was actually snapped by his mother, Kate Middleton, at their home in Norfolk.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share these new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow,” the caption of the post read. “The photographs were taken earlier this month by the duchess at their home in Norfolk.”

Like Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, thousands of fans took to the comment section of the post to send their best to Louis and the royal family. “William and Catherine, thank you so much for releasing these beautiful pictures of your adorable baby boy. Louis is so sweet and handsome. Wishing him an amazing Happy 1st Birthday,” one royal admirer gushed. “So cool that the Duchess took these pictures! Prince Louis looks like a combination of his brother and sister!” wrote another.

In the pic — which was one among many birthday portraits shared in honor of Louis’ birthday — the little royal can be seen showing off a huge smile as he sits happily outdoors on the grass. Louis donned a sophisticated burgundy sweater with a white collared shirt and black pants. The palace also shared a second photo of Louis, who is giving a serious look into the camera while wearing an adorable blue sweater with the design of a puppy stitched into the fabric. So cute!

Louis is growing up so fast that even Kate, 37, can’t help but gush over the amazing milestones he’s accomplished so far. In early March, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that her youngest son has been doing a pretty good job getting around Kensington Palace. “Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time,” she gushed to a group of parents during an event at the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre last month. “He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.” We can’t wait to see all the things Louis accomplishes in the next year!
