No cat will be coming out of any bag in the near future. Meghan Marke and Prince Harry have come to the decision that their baby boy Archie’s godparents will not be revealed to the public.

“The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private,” an official statement from Buckingham Palace read. This news comes after Closer Weekly confirmed that the royal couple will be having a christening for their first child on Saturday, July 6, at Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel at Windsor Castle. People reveals that the pair chose this location because they “wanted an intimate, peaceful setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty.”

“This is a beautiful milestone and they are excited to share it as a family first and then with the world,” the insider added. However, there is more good news! The duke, 34, and the duchess, 37, will also be releasing photos — taken by photographer Chris Allerton — from the special event the following day.

As for who may be the little one’s godparents, there are some notable faces that may be picked by Meghan and Harry. However, you can count George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney out of contention. “Oh yes, I’ll be godfather of the royals apparently,” the 58-year-old recently said. “No! I’m a father of twins, I have enough s–t to deal with — literally!”

Serena Williams may be a godparent to little Archie, as the tennis legend is quite close to the former actress. The 37-year-old was even at the Suits alum baby shower in New York City, and apparently spent close to $200,000 to make sure the event was a memorable one. Meghan’s pal Jessica Mulroney also attended the royal wedding and could also be her child’s godmother. So many picks!

We are eager to find out who Archie will be calling his godparents!
