Just because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry haven’t announced their first royal baby‘s gender, doesn’t mean that they don’t know it. In fact, a source close to Us Weekly recently revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly already do know if they are having a baby boy or girl — how exciting!
Even though Meg, 37, and Harry, 34, have remained tight-lipped regarding their baby’s gender, royal fans have been putting hints and clues together in hopes that the secret will be revealed. Following Meg’s lavish and highly publicized two-day baby shower in New York City last week, speculation began swirling over whether the lovebirds were welcoming a prince or princess.
According to the insider, Meg was telling friends and family that she and Harry will be welcoming a baby boy. Though nothing is confirmed, many thought Meg’s longtime bestie and former Suits costar Abigail Spencer hinted at Baby Sussex’s gender after she was spotted carrying blue gift bags as she walked into The Mark Hotel ahead of the baby shower extravaganza.
Though it seems like a dead giveaway, apparently the day before florists were also spotted unpacking pink, orange and yellow flowers outside the New York City hotel. “The flowers were spring colors in pretty pastel shades,” a source dished to E! News while similarly prompting some royal fans to guess Meghan is pregnant with a baby girl. “There were pink roses and cherry blossom vines. There were tons of flowers delivered before the shower started in an unmarked van.”
It was first speculated that the royal duo was welcoming a girl after the red-headed royal was spotted telling wish-wishers back in October during his royal tour stop in Suva, Fiji. Just days after Kensington Palace announced that the duo was expecting on October 15, Harry was all smiles as he spoke to students who congratulated him on the exciting news. “I’m predicting it’s going to be a boy,” an islander told Harry, who laughed and replied, “Everyone is predicting it’s going to be a girl.” What gender do YOU think Baby Sussex is going to be?!
