Ever since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry and entered the royal family there has been an alleged rift with Kate Middleton, and one royal expert believes there’s been some sort of confrontation between the two powerful women.

“I think that most of the stories that have been written about them are probably true otherwise Kensington Palace would have come down on them like a tonne of bricks,” Robert Jobson recently told Yahoo! News’ Royal Box. “I think most of is probably true.” One of those alleged fights involved the Duchess of Sussux, 37, apparently making Prince William‘s wife, 37, cry at a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte leading up to the royal wedding.

Jobson continued, “Whether or not there were reports Kate cried over the way her daughter, I don’t know if that’s true or not but there’s clearly been some confrontation.”

Another alleged incident occurred involving the former actress being livid that she was not able to wear a tiara that Queen Elizabeth didn’t approve of. Although Jobson believes that wasn’t entirely Meghan’s fault. “I don’t think Meghan was being difficult when she was picking out a tiara, I think Harry was probably being overly defensive and overly protective,” he revealed.

This rumored feud has gone on for quite some time now. In fact, even the Suits alum’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, chimed in once. “If there is any animosity between Meghan and Kate they should put their differences aside,” Thomas, 74, shared with The Sun. He continued, “I’m very upset by the criticism Meghan is getting. I don’t think she deserves it and I don’t think she is doing one-third of the things she is being accused of doing.”

Thomas also added that he believes his daughter isn’t “trying to hurt” the Duchess of Cambridge “in any shape or form.” Well we just hope that any alleged feud calms down with the arrival of the royal baby, because that is certain to bring joy to every member of the family.
