It looks like there’s no drama between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton after all. Since the Duchess of Sussex, 37, became a mom, the two are able to connect more now that they have that in common.

“Meghan and Kate will be spending a lot more time together,” a palace insider told Us Weekly. “Now that they’re bonding over motherhood, they’ve become closer than ever.” So sweet!

Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their bundle of joy on Monday, May 6. They first announced the news on their joint Instagram account. “The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives,” read the post. Two days later, they revealed their son’s name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The royal couple’s baby boy arrived just in time for Mother’s Day. The mom-of-one took to Instagram to share a very heartfelt message about her first holiday with her child. “Paying tribute to all mothers today — past, present, mothers-to-be and those lost but forever remembered,” the caption read, which featured a photo of Meghan holding Archie’s adorable little feet. “We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.”

So far, Meghan and Harry are loving parenthood. Despite not getting much sleep, they’re filled with joy over having a baby. “This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible,” Harry told the media the day his son was born. “As I said, I am so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, ‘your baby is absolutely amazing,’ but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.”

Meghan seems to agree. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing,” she told the media two days later. “I mean, I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.” Aw, good for them!
