Big things are happening in the McConaughey family this week!

Yesterday, Matthew McConaughey's wife, Camila Alves, received her American citizenship — and the actor shared an adorable photo of himself with his spouse and their three kids to commemorate the happy occasion!

"Congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today — another fellow and great American," the 45-year-old actor captioned the pic posted on his Twitter page.

The Interstellar star and Camila, 33 — who was born and raised in Brazil before moving to LA at age 15 — married in June 2012 after dating for six years. The couple are parents to three children, daughter Vida, 5, and sons Levi, 7, and Livingston, 2.

Camila also shared her excitement over earning her US citizenship on Twitter. "Happy to say I now hold an American passport! I have so much respect and appreciation for this country. #newuscitizen," she wrote on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
