There’s no denying that Mark Hamill loves his wife, Marilou Hamill, to the galaxy and back. The Star Wars actor shared sweet photos of him and his lady on Instagram to commemorate the couple’s 40th wedding anniversary.

“‘In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine’ — Maya Angelou,” Mark wrote in the caption. “Forty years and counting… #NoMeWithoutYou.” Take a look at the adorable photos below!

In the snapshots, the happy couple can be seen smiling while attending fancy events. The photo collage that Mark shared also features a photo of the duo and their kids, Nathan, 39, Griffin, 35, and Chelsea, 30, when they were just toddlers.

While most Hollywood couples meet at star-studded events, Mark and Marilou met in an unconventional place — the dentist’s office. Apparently, Mark’s wife, formerly Marilou York, was working as a dental hygienist at the time that the 67-year-old actor was a patient. “She came into the waiting room in jeans, white coat, breasts like melons, looking like a Vargas painting,” he told People in 1981. “I said, ‘They let you dress like that at work?’ She said, ‘Yeah. Next.'”

However, the pickup line worked and Mark brought Marilou to see a movie on their first date. “I took her to Annie Hall to see if she had a sense of humor,” he blatantly admitted. “I dropped women if they didn’t.”

It looks like Marilou passed his test considering according to Mark, it was love at first sight. However, the timing wasn’t right for the actor as he wanted to experience the Hollywood life. “I had to taste groupies and fame,” he claimed. “I went to Las Vegas to date 38-year-old showgirls. I wanted to scale all these women. That was exciting for about the first 10 minutes. Eventually, I wanted something to hold onto — and a family.”

Mark and Marilou got back together, and the couple tied the knot in December 1978 at their home in Malibu.

This romantic gesture for the couple’s milestone anniversary isn’t the first time that Mark has worshipped his wife on social media. In February, the Batman actor wrote on Twitter that “Today is the perfect day for letting @MarilouHamill know how grateful I am for having her in my life,” Mark tweeted. “She makes the ordinary seem extraordinary and I just want to thank her for being my everything.” So sweet!
