He’s made it to the semifinals this year, but that doesn’t mean Mark Ballas — who is part of the band Alexander Jean with his wife of one year, BC Jean! — is 100 percent sure he’ll return to Dancing With the Stars next season. In an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, the pro dancer opened up about his experience on the show. When asked who his dream celebrity partner in the future would be, Mark, 31, replied, “I don’t know if I’ll be back in the future, so I don’t know, we’ll see.”

What about a pairing with his wife, perhaps? Closer also spoke to BC about her work with her hubby — and she sweetly revealed that she’s considered hitting the DWTS ballroom with Mark in the past! “I always say it depends on how much they pay me! I don’t know. I think as tough as I am on the outside I think I’m pretty fragile,” she confessed. “I would have to go on and wing it and I’m just super competitive. I don’t know if it’s for me. I know I’d win if I went on, but I don’t know.”

For now, the couple is excited for the future of Alexander Jean as they plan to go on a winter tour with Mark’s current DWTS partner, violinist Lindsey Stirling! “We just finished some recordings for Christmas and we’ll be dropping those soon. We’ve been putting videos together, the winter tour is going to take us all the way through Dec. 21, 2017, so that’s pretty cool,” Mark shared. “We’re playing in some awesome, big theaters and it’s going to be great to get to perform for those fans and be out on the road again, and it’s cool because we’re going all over the country. We love to travel. We just finished our second tour this summer so this will be our third one. We’re in the middle of writing EP No. 3 right now, so I think in the new year we should be expecting another EP. So hopefully some more touring and traveling.”

BC added, “We’re adding a little holiday spirit into some of our set and we’ve got some exciting things coming out based upon the holidays, so there’s a lot to look forward to with that. We’ve been kind of teasing some stuff on our social media sites so very soon we’re going to have something epic to show the world.”

Though BC isn’t joining her hubby, Mark, on DWTS just yet, the two sometimes enjoy dancing together at home! “Mark will come in if I’m cooking after work and if he walks in he’ll spin me or something and I’ll be like ‘get out of my kitchen I’m trying not to burn the food,'” BC joked. She added, “We did a little minute tango for our wedding last minute just for fun. No pressure, everyone in the audience was a dancer. But, we don’t really go out dancing because for Mark that’s like asking a doctor to come home and do surgery on his wife, so we don’t really do too much dancing. But if I have a couple drinks I tend to have a couple moves that Mark likes to make fun of.” Too cute!
