Later this year — on November 16, to be exact — Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond will take their final bows for Donny & Marie. Even though they’ve made the decision to end their Las Vegas residency of more than a decade, it’s clear nothing will ever come between these superstar siblings.

“Who knows — maybe sometime in the future we’ll get together again to sing ‘A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Donny, 61, exclusively tells Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue — on newsstands now. “There’s a bond here that will never be broken.”

As for what comes when the curtain closes on Donny & Marie this fall, these two — who had a popular variety series of the same name from 1976 to 1979 — have plans both big and small.

“I have beautiful children and grandchildren. And I am so excited to be with my husband because he is the love of my life and we lost 25 years together,” Marie, 59, explains. Marie — who has eight children and four grandchildren — was married to Stephen Craig from 1982 to 1985. The couple remarried in 2011 when she split from her second husband, Brian Blosil. In addition to some downtime, the “Paper Roses” singer would like to do a solo tour in Europe and perform in an opera.

Donny — who has five children and 10 grandchildren — will also be focusing on spending time with family, including wife of 40 years, Debbie Osmond. In addition to working on new music, the “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” singer and Debbie are releasing a line of home furnishings called Donny Osmond Home. “There are so many exciting things in the pipeline right now,” he gushes.

As for what brought them newfound success with this Las Vegas show, the pair credits Dancing With the Stars for introducing them to “a new multigenerational audience.” Marie came in third place during the fifth season of the ABC reality competition series while Donny won the ninth season.

“We started out as a six-week contract and here we are 11 years later,” Donny says of their first time working together since the variety show and decades of them not working together. “[But] there are so many projects we want to do individually. She’s got her career, I’ve got my career.”
