In honor of her husband’s birthday, Marie Osmond shared a loving tribute for her “sweetheart” Steve Craig. The Talk star uploaded the cutest photo of the pair alongside a heartwarming message while celebrating her longtime love’s special day.

“Happy birthday to my sweetheart!” the 60-year-old star adorably captioned a gorgeous snapshot of them posing in front of a mountain range in Colorado on Wednesday, August 27. “We got the youngest kids off to college and decided to spend some together time enjoying God‘s beautiful earth.”

The Donny and Marie alum first tied the knot with her handsome hubby in 1982. The twosome became the proud parents of their eldest child, Stephen, in 1983, but the singer and Steve called it quits two years later in 1985.

Marie moved on with her second husband, Brian Blosil, in 1986. The couple expanded the legendary entertainer’s family with their seven kids, Jessica, Rachael, Brandon, Brianna, Matthew, Abigail and late son Michael, but they split following 20 years of marriage in 2007.

Fortunately, the “Paper roses” songstress reconnected with Steve following her divorce. In 2011, the former couple gave their love another shot when they exchanged vows for a second time. Although Marie is convinced their marriage was meant to be, she credits her late dad, George Osmond, for helping her realize that.

Because of my dad’s heart, I had the courage to try again with the love of my life (who had one of the best dads ever as well),” she explained in a touching Instagram post in June. “I am so grateful I did because my husband is just like my dad in so many ways.”

The doting mom said she knew Steve was the one because the way he respects women is very similar to how George cared for his wife, Olive Osmond. “The way he treated her taught me what it meant to be loyal to someone through good and bad times,” she gushed. “Through his example by how he loved my mom, I knew not to ever settle for less as a woman, and I didn’t.”

Looking back, Marie couldn’t be more grateful that she took another chance on Steve. “I’m in love for the first time in my life — like really in love — and it’s probably the most wonderful experience I’ve had,” Marie marveled to Closer Weekly in October 2019. “Truly in love. We’re best friends. He really is an amazing man.”

We hope Steve had the best birthday!
