Singer Marie Osmond felt really bad when she didn’t show up to her Wednesday, April 10, performance with Donny Osmond in Las Vegas. She revealed via Instagram that she had no choice but to stay at home and rest because she was suffering from allergies.

“On Wednesday, allergies attacked me and I lost my voice so I couldn’t do the show! 😫 ,” Marie, 59, admitted. “So many [of] our audiences travel from all over the world to see us perform @FlamingoVegas, so when I can’t perform for them, it breaks my heart! 💔 To all of you who came to the Wednesday show and only got to see Donny on stage,😳 I know … #HeNeedsMe!!! 😉😜😘.”

Even though fans didn’t get to see Marie perform at the Flamingo Resort, they still have a few months left to see her and Donny’s show before they conclude their Las Vegas residency at the end of this year.

“It’s a strange feeling knowing that the end is on the horizon,” Donny said via Instagram on Thursday, March 21. “Last night after the show, I couldn’t help but think about all that I’m going to miss once it’s over. I’m going to miss performing on stage with my extremely talented sister every night. She’s the best partner in crime a guy could ask for.⁣”

Marie also confirmed the sad news on her official Instagram account and thanked her fans for always supporting her and her brother. “Thank you for coming to our shows, some of you returning many times over. None of this would ever have been possible without you. How much do I appreciate you?! You have made all the difference. You have made us who we are,” she said.

“The other night I turned to Donny as we took our spots for the opening of the show and said: ‘Hey D, let’s just have fun with every show as we count down to the last one … let’s enjoy every moment,'” she continued. “Saying good bye is never easy, but as Donny said ‘It’s the end of The Donny & Marie Show, it’s not the end of Donny and Marie.’”
