Liza Minnelli has entered a rehab facility for substance abuse, the star’s rep confirmed on the evening of Wednesday, March 18.

According to the 69-year-old actress’ rep, Liza entered the treatment center a few days ago to deal with an alcohol addiction and has been making “excellent progress” during her stay thus far.

“Liza Minnelli has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years and whenever she has needed to seek treatment she has done so,” her rep told ‘TMZ,’ referring to the Oscar-winner’s previous rehab stint in 2004.

In 2010, the star was reportedly offered $500,000 to appear on the reality series ‘Celebrity Rehab,’ which she ultimately turned down.
