Just two days after Lauren Bush Lauren lost her beloved grandmother Barbara Bush, the philanthropist and her husband, David Lauren, have welcomed their second baby. David, 46, took to Instagram on Friday, April 20 to announce the birth of baby Max Lauren.

“We feel lucky and blessed to introduce our son Max Walker Lauren! He was born yesterday (April 19) at 5:33 a.m. weighing 7lbs [and] 8oz. He is happy and healthy and enjoying his new world!” the proud dad captioned the first photo of the family’s new bundle of joy. Lauren, 33, and David — who tied the knot in September 2011 — are already parents to a two-year-old son named James Richard Lauren.

Baby Max is Barbara Bush’s eighth great-grandchild. The former First Lady — who sadly passed away at age 92 on April 17 — was also a great-grandmother to granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager’s two daughters, Mila and Poppy, grandson George P. Bush’s sons John and Prescott, grandson John Ellis Bush, Jr.’s daughters Vivian and Georgia, and granddaughter Lauren Bush Lauren’s son James.

Following Barbara’s passing, Lauren took to Instagram to pay tribute to her grandmother with a series of sweet snapshots of them together over the years. “Ganny was truly a one-of-a-kind, tell it like it is, amazing woman! My love of reading, puzzles, and travel are just a few things she helped foster in me,” she wrote.
