Lance Armstrong Is Engaged — Get the Details on His Proposal to Girlfriend Anna Hansen!
Pretty soon, Lance Armstrong will be a married man!
The professional road racing cyclist got engaged to his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, on Tuesday, May 23, he announced on Instagram.
“She said….. YES!!!!” he wrote on the social media platform alongside an adorable photo of the two underneath the sunset at Lake Austin. And even though Anna’s diamond ring is photographed pretty far away, we can still tell that it looks magnificent!

This engagement has been a long time coming as the couple has been together since 2008. Lance, 45, and Anna are even parents to a son Max, 7, and daughter Olivia, 6.
Lance was also previously hitched to ex-wife Kristin Richard from 1998 until 2003 and is additionally a dad to a son Luke, 17, and twin daughters Grace and Isabelle, 15.

In-between Kristin and Anna, Lance dated A-listers including Kate Hudson and Sheryl Crow for three years. In fact, he and Sheryl were engaged for five months in 2006 before calling it off.
In a previous interview, the 55-year-old country singer opened up about their failed relationship. “I have always gone out with guys who were highly successful, which would seem like it would put me at an equal level,” she explained. “But what ends up happening is that one of you becomes smaller — and it was always me.”

“I do think that sometimes in order for one person’s light to shine, everyone else has to dim theirs,” she added.

In his book, Lance, he got candid about their split as well. “She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids,” Lance wrote. “Yet we’re up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.” Well, it seems he’s ready now!
We can’t wait for the wedding! Hopefully, the couple rides in on bikes…
