Even though Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together for nearly 35 years, they still like to go out on dates with each other from time to time, and on Saturday, February 23, the couple did just that in the best way possible.

Kurt, 67, and Goldie, 73, dined at Crustacean, an expensive Asian fusion restaurant in Beverly Hills, and the couple were spotted getting very cozy with one another.

By putting their careers on the back-burner, The Overboard stars managed to have a very successful relationship in Hollywood. “[We] were very aware of what would happen had we both pursued our careers full-on,” the actor previously told the Daily Mail. “I very rarely worked when I knew Goldie was going to be working. And vice-versa. Which meant we could be together. I never thought that what the business could provide would ever take precedence over us. Money is great, but you’ve got to say no. You really do.”

“Everyone has their marker on what is really important and where you draw the line,” he continued. “For Goldie and me, that core value was this: the kids come first.”

Kurt previously told the Daily Mail that he once turned down a very popular movie to spend more time with his partner. “There was a movie I was going to be paid a lot of money for,” he revealed. “I’d rather not say what it was, but it came when I’d just done two pictures in a row and Goldie was about to go to work, so I had to turn it down.”

Kurt explained that he never regretted turning down the movie because he got to stay at home and watch Goldie’s daughter, Kate Hudson, grow up. “Kate was a very sparky personality, a fun girl, great. But when you’re a teenager you need Dad to be there, to say you’re going to be home at 11:30,” he said. “I think as a parent you have to be an obstacle at times, so they can learn to get around you. If they learn to get around you, they can get around most troubles.”

Kurt and Goldie have also been together for so long because they value and respect each other. “No matter how rocky things get, they always find their way back to each other for the sake of their family,” a friend close to the Death Becomes Her actress previously told Closer Weekly. “Not breaking up is their mantra.”

“Kurt’s the only man that Goldie’s been with that makes her laugh constantly. She always wants to be joyful and to feel happy, and he indulges her in that way,” the friend added.
