Umm… awkward! Kristin Davis took to Instagram on Monday, Sept. 17, to share a throwback photo of herself with two of her Sex and the City co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon. However, their fourth leading lady, Kim Cattrall, was absent from the snap!

“Emmy flashback — super happy memories and wishing joy to everyone tonight. We are all so incredibly lucky to get to do what we do!” Charlotte capped the snap of herself, Miranda, and Carrie. Poor Samantha!

Fans immediately took to the comments to defend Kristin and to defend Kim. “Maybe there wasn’t a photo taken of all 4 of them from the Emmy’s and that’s why Kim isn’t in it…,” one wrote. Another added, “Maybe Kim took the picture? At any rate, Kristin is free to post whatever she wants! This is an iconic Emmy picture to celebrate the Emmy’s, that’s it.” Another asked, “Where is Samantha!!!!??”

Perhaps she was left out of the flashback due to all the drama between TV’s favorite foursome of the past few years — especially Kim’s ongoing feud with Sarah Jessica. The two have been fueling rumors they don’t get along for over 10 years, and in the past two years, it’s really come to a head.

In October 2017, KIm opened up about the third SATC movie not happening — and seemingly dissed Sarah in the process. “They all have children and I am ten years older and since specifically the series ended I have been spending most of my time outside of New York so I don’t see them. The common ground that we had was the series and the series is over,” she told Piers Morgan at the time. “This is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer. I really think she could have been nicer.”

A year later, Kim lost her brother, and Sarah expressed her condolences on Kim’s Instagram account — but Kim subsequently accused her of exploiting his death. “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time [Sarah Jessica Parker],” she said.

Kim continued, “My mom asked me today, ‘When will that [Sarah Jessica Parker], that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.” And you wonder why she wasn’t in the photo!
