Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish have officially set their wedding date!

During a new interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 36-year-old actor revealed he and his model fiancée, 31, are tying the knot on Aug. 8, 2016.

"You know black men tend to draw these things out, but I cut it short where I could. We’re getting married August 8th. It’s over man. August 8th," he told host Ellen DeGeneres during their Tuesday, Jan. 12 sit-down.

"That’s right ladies, I'm putting the chocolate in the fridge. I’m putting these chocolate nuggets up in the freezer ladies. It’s over. It’s over," Kevin joked, to which Ellen replied, "I've never heard that expression before!"

"You know, what’s bad is I didn’t realise what it could mean. So after I said it I was like 'Oh wait, no, no, no, I didn’t want it to be that.' I’m not gonna take it back though, regardless they’re locked up. They’re in the fridge," the Ride Along 2 star continued.

When asked about their wedding plans thus far, Kevin admitted he hasn't participated in decision-making because he's a "clever man." "I said just make sure I know where to walk and what color I'm wearing. I'm fine, I just want to sign the check. I just want a piece of chicken and I want to walk down the aisle," he joked.

Kevin proposed to Eniko in August 2014. He was previously married to Torrei Hart — with whom he has two children, daughter Heaven, 10, and son Hendrix, 8 — from 2003 until 2011.
