Kelsey Grammer has an exciting new gig!

According to a new report, the 60-year-old actor has been cast on a new TV series titled The Last Tycoon. The upcoming Amazon Studios’ drama is based on an unfinished novel penned by The Great Gatsby author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s before his 1940 death.

The show will additionally feature United States of Tara star Rosemarie DeWitt and White Collar actor Matt Bomer. The Last Tycoon will chronicle young Hollywood go-getter Monroe Stahr’s clash with his vain studio executive, Pat Brady, during his rise to fame in the 1930s. Monroe and Pat will be portrayed by Matt and Kelsey, respectively, Deadline reported.

Kelsey — who is currently filming his latest project in Australia — is set to return to Broadway in mid-January to reprise his starring role in Finding Neverland before traveling to LA to begin shooting The Last Tycoon at the end of February.

The actor was previously awarded five Primetime Emmys and three Golden Globes for his TV work on Frasier, The Simpsons and Boss.
