Kelly Ripa‘s daughter, Lola Consuelos, will never get used to the “thirst trap” pictures her mom posts of her dad, Mark Consuelos, on Instagram.

“That’s disgusting,” Lola, 19, jokingly told Kelly, 49, during an interview for PEOPLE’s inaugural Family Issue published on Wednesday, August 12. “I block that out of my mind. I forgot that you even did that. I don’t even know if I follow you on Instagram still! I’m kidding, I would never.”

Although it took Lola awhile to remember what Kelly posted, the teen was very vocal when her mom shared a sexy video of Mark, also 49, showing off his toned abs on Instagram. “This thirst trap Friday has been brought to you by the letters K and J,” the Live With Kelly and Ryan host penned the caption in March, which prompted Lola to respond.

“I’m reporting this,” the New York University undergrad hilariously said at the time, but her mom wasn’t having it. “Lola … shouldn’t you be reading a book or something?” Kelly joked back.

Even though Kelly’s daughter doesn’t agree with her social media use, the brunette beauty will still try to give her mom some helpful advice from time to time like not to address her haters on Instagram.

“I just don’t even think you should give them the time of day,” Lola told the former actress during the cover shoot. “I mean these people are sitting at home wishing they were you.” But Kelly sees it a different way. She said she and her haters have a “healthy relationship with each other” because they know how to “give and take.”

“The people that I clap back to are very clever. They’re usually very funny, I usually get a good chuckle out of it. They deserve the little pepper! They deserve it. They need it,” the All My Children alum explained. “I feel like the clapback is what people want.”

“I understand,” Lola replied, before getting her point across. “Irrelevant people should stay out of our lives.”

“Alright, you’re always wiser than I am,” Kelly hilariously noted.
