Kelly Ripa Announces Ryan Seacrest as New ‘Live’ Co-Host — Plus, Find out How to Get Tickets to Their New Show!

It’s official — Ryan Seacrest is Kelly Ripa’s new Live co-host!

After a year-long search to replace former partner Michael Strahan, Kelly announced the exciting news to her loyal fans on Monday, May 1.

“Today, the next chapter of the Live story is about to be written,” the 46-year-old star began her latest show before walking onstage with Ryan, 42.

“So happy,” the former American Idol star told Kelly. “So exciting.”

Ryan has served as a co-host alongside Kelly five times in the past year since Michael’s surprise April 2016 exit from the hit daytime talk show.

Live fans were surprised by Ryan’s addition to the program as other popular guest hosts including Jerry O’Connell, Neil Patrick Harris, and Anderson Cooper were thought to be the highest contenders for the new role.

Following the co-host reveal, many Live viewers are now wondering how to get tickets to Kelly and Ryan’s show. Fans may request free passes to see the program by visiting the Live ticket website.

Studio guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult and fans need to be over 10 years old to attend a taping of the show. Live is shot in NYC on weekday mornings and lasts approximately 60 minutes.
