Kelly Ripa Reveals Sweet Christmas Gifts She Got From Son Joaquin

On top of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos having a romantic Christmas, the couple also got a very beautiful gift from their son, Joaquin. Kelly, 49, debuted her fabulous gift to the world when she shared two photos of Joaquin’s sweet presents to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, December 26.

The 16-year-old painted Kelly a beautiful portrait of the ocean and he used his arts and crafts skills for his dad, too. Joaquin gifted Mark an amazing portrait of the mountains. Both pieces were small enough to fit into the palm of your hand and when Kelly shared her present on social media, she wrote, “best gift from favorite third child,” on top of the photo.

The Live! host has obviously been having a great time during the holidays with her husband and kids. On December 11, she went on her talk show to unveil her family’s Christmas card to the world. Kelly explained that before she took the photo with Mark and her children — Michael, 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin — the photographer came up with a great idea for the snap.

“They said, wouldn’t it be funny if we got a picture of you trying to take a picture of your family for your Christmas card photo, we know how much that means to you,” she dished. “And I was like, ‘That’s not funny, that’s amazing!’”

“So we put all this together,” she added, while displaying the card in her hands. “I did not run this by the children, my husband — that is me trying to run into the photo to catch myself in the photo too. And here we all are.”

Kelly’s cohost Ryan Seacrest loved the card too. “It looks like the advertisement for a new series coming to Primetime,” he joked. “And I can’t wait to watch.”
