A family that celebrates together, stays together!
Kelly Ripa took to Instagram over the weekend to share a sweet new snapshot of herself posing with her handsome husband, Mark Consuelos, and their three children celebrating her youngest son Joaquin's 14th birthday.
"Pon de birthday ?????? Quin-14! ???????," the 46-year-old Live with Kelly star captioned the cute photo posted on Saturday, Feb. 25.
"Such a beautiful family! Love you so much!" one of Kelly's 1.2 million followers commented on the pic with another adding, "Joaquin, you are mini Kelly! Cute as a button!"
Kelly and Mark, 45, are also parents to two older kids, son Michael, 19, and daughter Lola Grace. 15. The A-list couple previously tied the knot in May 1996 and have now been married for nearly 20 years!
Earlier on Joaquin's 14th birthday, Kelly posted a cuter than cute throwback photo of her youngest child posing with his dad, Mark. "Flashback Friday, circa 2006. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOAQUIN!!! ????????????? Quin-14!," she captioned the image.
Mark similarly took to Instagram on Joaquin's birthday to post a cute throwback pic of his son. "Happy 14th bday Quino!!! Love you buddy… photo [from] 2007," he captioned the snapshot.
While recently appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Kelly hilariously told host Stephen Colbert that his book, I Am A Pole (And So Can You!), once got Joaquin in trouble at school!
"I have a bone to pick with you about a book you sold on our show," she told Stephen. The night before Stephen appeared on her morning talk show, Live with Kelly, in 2012, Kelly sent her then nine-year-old boy to class with the spoof children's book — without realizing it was about a pole that tries to find its purpose in life and ends up at a strip club!
"He goes to a school where the primary focus of the education is really learning how to read," she said of Joaquin, who has dyslexia. "If you master so many books, you can bring in a book of your choice and the teacher will read the book out loud to the class."
"He sends it back to me and says, 'The teacher wouldn't finish reading the book,'" Kelly recalled. Joaquin's teacher even wrote a note to Kelly and Mark about the scandalous book! "'I'm not sure if you had read this first,'" Kelly recalled of the educator's note. "And she said, 'It's a really funny book. I really tried to stick with it. But at a certain point, certain things aren’t appropriate for nine-year-olds.'" Too funny!
