Happy Birthday, Kelly Ripa! Earlier today, the beloved TV star was surprised with a gigantic cake on Live! with Kelly and Ryan to celebrate her 48th birthday — but the confection was far from ordinary. Not only was the cake massive, but it was also decorated to look like Kelly’s favorite snack… a yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

During the show, Kelly’s co-host, Ryan Seacrest, referred to the pound cake — which was created by chef Michael Lechowicz at New York-based French bakery Charlotte Patisserie — as “the world’s largest peanut butter and jelly sandwich birthday cake.” And, judging by the photos, we believe him!

“I spent the whole year hearing about Kelly having PB&J in her bed. Her husband would bring these in [and] they would eat them,” Ryan revealed to the audience before he jokingly told Kelly, “I don’t know how you and Mark [Consuelos] would have this in bed.”

Kelly felt so grateful that Ryan and her Live! colleagues remembered her birthday that she immidiately gave her co-host a hug and said, “We would manage.” Kelly added, “This is the greatest thing ever. Thank you so much everybody. You’re the very best.”

Kelly’s husband, Mark, also showed how much he loved the cake by including it in his sweet birthday shout-out to his wife online. “Happy Birthday, Sexy!! I love you like a kid loves cake!! Love, M,”  Mark wrote via Instagram.

Since Kelly has talked about being a clean eater in the past, she might need some help finishing her giant birthday cake this year. “I eat a very clean diet. I have lots of vegetables, I eat protein, but I really don’t put a ton of thought into it. It’s everything you’ve read about or heard about in any diet book — don’t eat too much crap, and I don’t,” Kelly told ABC News. “If that’s the secret, then that’s the secret!”
