Right in the feels. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are quite emotional, as their only daughter Lola begins college.

The Live with Kelly and Ryan cohost, 48, took to Instagram on Thursday, August 22, to open up about her thoughts of Lola flying the coop. “#tbt 2001 from your christening to college. In the blink of an eye,” the TV personality wrote alongside a throwback photo showing she and her husband, 48, holding their baby daughter. “I’m not crying. You’re crying. Actually Daddy’s sobbing.”

Fans were feeling the emotions, as they took to the comments section to respond. “I’m crying for all of you,” one person said. Another added, “Beautiful. To four wonderful years. Enjoy but stay safe.”

The All My Children alum and the Riverdale actor — who tied the knot in 1996 — also share two sons, Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 16. The pair have always been quite close to their children — and while their one famous couple, they have taught their kids to remain humble though it all.

“They aren’t your typical celebrity kids,” an insider once revealed to Hollywood Life. “They are not spoiled kids. They are grounded, well-mannered, normal kids who don’t see themselves as celebrities because their parents have raised them as normal as possible.”

The source added, “[They] are extremely proud of how their children turned out. Kelly always dreamed of having a daughter and loves how close she and Lola are. Kelly is a very hands-on mom and can be strict at times, especially with Lola because of how beautiful she is, but she trusts her kids implicitly.”

The blonde beauty has even shared some important beauty tips with her children, especially Lola. “What is the one thing I’ve always told you?” Kelly once asked her daughter for People. “Never touch your eyebrows! I have always told you never to touch your eyebrows, and you never have, and I’m so right about that.” So great!

We wish Lola nothing but the best moving forward!
