Singer Kelly Clarkson‘s daughter, River Rose, is only three years old, but the little girl has sadly already been bullied — and the experience crushed her protective mom. During a candid new interview with Redbook magazine, Kelly, 35, opened up about River’s unfortunate bullying incident and revealed she “totally went off on” the kid being mean to her daughter in her head. The former American Idol winner and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, 40, are also parents to a one-year-old son, Remington. Brandon — who works as a talent manager — is additionally a dad to two older kids, Savannah, 16, and Seth, 11, from his first marriage. While speaking to Redbook, Kelly said becoming a mother has changed her personality. “Literally, having children has brought fear to my life. That sounds horrible, I know, but before kids I was fearless. Now I go to bed and I have nightmares of someone just grabbing my little girl and running. It’s always about me not being able to protect my kids somehow. I’m a mama bear,” she said.

In another recent interview, Kelly confessed she and Brandon — who tied the knot in October 2013 — are definitely not planning on having any more babies in the future. “Oh God, those tubes are gone! That’s blasphemy. We don’t even speak of it. We’re both fixed in our own ways, yet still we’ll probably get pregnant again somehow,” she joked on KTU’s Cubby and Carolina in the Morning.

She continued, “I always feel bad because I have friends who have a hard time getting pregnant and I’m just like guys, I have the worst pregnancies ever, it can’t happen again!” Kelly also explained why she and Brandon are done having kids while speaking to Jenny McCarthy on The Jenny McCarthy Show in 2016. “I was literally pregnant with Remi, and I was like, ‘You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again.’ If something happens, it’s a miracle of God. I literally told my OBGYN on the table while open, ‘If I get pregnant again, I will find you!'”
