In a new interview, Nicole Kidman revealed her eight-year-old daughter really wants to be her famous dad Keith Urban‘s date to this weekend’s Grammys!

“You and Keith are the more adorable couple — you really are just genuinely in love and crazy about each other,” Ellen DeGeneres recently told the 49-year-old actress on The Ellen DeGeneres Show while talking to Nicole about this awards season.

“He’ll be at the Grammys this weekend, you’ll be in London… and so you won’t be together,” Ellen said, to which Nicole replied, “Yes, but the reason I’m in London is because I got nominated for a BAFTA… the equivalent of the Academy Awards here, but it’s in Britain. And it’s on the same night as the Grammys.”

“When [the nominations] came out I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I got nominated for a BAFTA!’ And then we were like, ‘It’s on the 12th… uh oh,'” Nicole continued.

“And then Sunday, who is our daughter, was like ‘I’ll go with dad to the Grammys!’ I’m like, no, no, no, no… she’s eight! They use inappropriate language [during the show], Ellen,” the Moulin Rouge star added.

Keith, 49, and Nicole welcomed their eldest child, Sunday Rose, in July 2008. The couple — who tied the knot in June 2006 in Sydney, Australia — are also parents to a six-year-old daughter, Faith Margaret, who was born via surrogate in December 2010.

The Oscar winner is additionally a mom to two older kids — daughter Isabella, 24, and son Connor, 22 — whom she previously adopted with her first husband, Tom Cruise.

During her appearance on The Ellen Show, Nicole also opened up about the first time she met her now-husband, Keith. “I remember thinking I had such a crush on him and he wasn’t interested in me. He didn’t call me for four months,” she recalled.

“We’re here now and it’s all good,” Nicole added. “We don’t need to hash up all that stuff!”
