Katie Holmes Offering $1,000 Reward for Daughter Suri’s Missing Chihuahua
That’s not a good way to start off a move!
Only weeks after Katie Holmes and 8-year-old daughter Suri adopted a one-year-old Chihuahua from a pet sanctuary in Calabasas, Calif., the pooch has gone missing, according to various outlets.
The dog, whose name is Honey — though she also responds to her original name Maple — is said to have escaped through an open gate at a friend’s home on Sunday, Aug. 24, and hasn’t been seen since. The tiny pup is also not wearing a collar.
Around 50 posters have been tacked up around the community in an effort to recover Honey, and a $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who returns the Chihuahua.
The pair just moved to the Los Angeles area, where the actress reportedly spent nearly $3.8 million on a mansion in Thousand Oaks.
Sources claim The Giver star is hoping her switch to the west coast will revitalize her Hollywood career and surround Suri with children her own age.
