So, apparently, Katie Holmes is a little competitive. Suri Cruise‘s mama recently admitted to Women’s Health that she doesn’t go on social media — Instagram specifically — too often in order to avoid the unwanted feeling of competition between herself and other moms. But sometimes, it happens anyways, and she finds herself getting jealous of other mothers and their families. “Like, that one has taken her child to Morocco, why haven’t I taken my child to Morocco?” she revealed to the magazine.

Most mothers would probably agree that Katie does it all — and well! The 39-year-old juggles a successful acting and directing career, all while taking care of soon-to-be 12-year-old Suri full-time. “Some people say, ‘It must be so hard to act and direct at the same time.’ But it’s not as challenging as it looks, because you’re in charge of it. And when you’re a mom — we’re used to doing 25 things at once.”

The Dawson’s Creek actress opened up to Modern Luxury back in September 2017 about her views on motherhood, and it’s obvious her daughter is her top priority. “When I’m not on set, I’m being a mom. I’m doing mom stuff,” she said. “When I go to an event, I leave at 10 pm because it’s really important to me to be a mom that is dependable.” She continued, “I think the most important thing in my life is giving my child the childhood I want her to have. That comes first. That dictates where I work and when I work because it’s my main job right now.”

The celeb, who shares Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise, added in another interview with Town & Country, “This business is so unstable, and you never really know where you’re going to be… My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now.” One thing’s for sure, Katie doesn’t need to feel competitive — she’s already winning at motherhood!
