It has been a month and a half since TV host Katie Couric, 56, revealed her engagement to financer John Molner, but wedding buzz surrounding her upcoming nuptials has yet to die down.

A source close to Katie tells Closer that while the couple is still deciding on a wedding date, it seems likely that they will tie the knot in late spring. But Couric isn’t stressing over the details. “Katie is the furthest thing from a Bridezilla that there is,” the source says. “Her and John want something tasteful and low key. They want their kids to be very involved.”

Couric has two daughters from her previous marriage to Jay Monahan, who passed away from colon cancer in 1998. This is the first marriage for Molner, 50, who works at investment bank and securities firm Brown Brothers Harriman.

The wedding will be local, held in or around New York and the guest list will include close friends and family of the couple. The wardrobe won’t be a big fuss either for the bride. “Katie won't wear some ridiculous wedding dress but she will pick out something classy and beautiful and right for this kind of occasion,” the source shares. “No one should expect anything flashy.”
