This TV host is moving on to bigger and better things! Katie Couric announced on Friday that she is leaving her position at Yahoo as a global news anchor. The 60-year-old journalist will no longer be working on her online interview show either. Instead, Couric is starting a new chapter in her career.

Couric’s departure from Yahoo and Oath — a newly-created division of Verizon, Yahoo’s parent company— doesn’t signify the end of her working relationship with Yahoo. Though Katie’s contract expired in March and was previously renewed until June, the former Today Show host maintains she will continue to work with the company on a project-by-project basis.
