All eyes may have been on Prince George at his royal christening yesterday, but new mom Kate Middleton got her fair share of attention after showing off her stunning figure in an ivory Alexander McQueen ruffled coat dress.
The Duchess looked radiant and relaxed as she held her baby boy who matched in his ivory and lace replica christening gown. With a coordinating Jane Taylor fascinator and her trusty L.K. Bennett nude pumps, Kate completed her much-buzzed about look.
The British design house has been a favorite of Kate’s since she joined the royal family and had the distinct honor of designing her wedding dress in 2011. Husband William looked dapper alongside his wife in a navy suit and light blue tie.
As reported earlier, the ceremony was indeed intimate with a total of only 22 guests including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla, Kate’s immediate family, and the seven godparents and their spouses.
The guests then joined the couple at Clarence House for an afternoon tea hosted by Charles and Camilla where the party dined on slices of cake from a tier of William and Kate’s wedding cake.
But not everyone had time to enjoy the festivities. That evening it was the Queen’s turn to play host at a reception for The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust at Buckingham Palace. She sure is one busy monarch!
