Now that Kate Middleton lives in Kensington Palace with her husband Prince William and their three children, a spot she’s lived at since 2013, it seems that she has no use for her former residence, and that’s because Kate’s parents are reportedly putting it on the market.

According to The Sunday Times, the three-bedroom apartment that Kate shared with her sister Pippa Middleton before she was officially welcomed into the royal family is being put up for sale by her parens Michael and Carole Middleton. The apartment, located in Chelsea, was purchased by Carole and Michael for £780,000 ($990K) in 2002 and has reportedly been put on the market for £1.95m ($2.5 million). So do the math to figure out the profit because it’s too early for us to do math.

There’s no need for the lavish apartment for Pippa either as she’s moved out with her husband James Matthews into a £17 million ($21.6 million) mansion down the road. You know, as most people do. If you’re in Chelsea and you have a few dollars lying around, just know that Kate and Pippa’s former apartment is 1,250 square feet, has two bathrooms, and it’s filled with old-fashioned furniture. It’s an apartment that Kate and Pippa probably now believe is a complete shack. Not even Kate and Pippa’s brother James is interested in it as he lives and works in Scotland, but also hops around to the Middleton’s seven-bedroom family home in Berkshire. We also forget he exist, so that’s on us.

The real estate agents behind the reported sale, Knight Frank, have not commented, and Kensington Palace have also not confirmed this reported news. We’re also quite certain that Megan Markle and Prince Harry want no part of it since they’ve parked themselves in Frogmore Cottage.
