“Now [that] George and Charlotte are slightly older, Kate’s decided that this year the family will make pumpkin faces,” a source recently shared to Us Weekly. “Kate and William will do the carving and the kids will decorate them. This is something Kate’s really excited about as she loves seeing her kids being creative.”
As we all know, Kate has never been one to let her kids shy away from their creativity. She encourages them to express themselves in as many different ways as possible. And since Charlotte and George are already “passionate about cooking,” she figures it would be great if they could make cupcakes for Halloween.
Who knows? Princess Charlotte might just become a chef one day! She adores being in the kitchen so much that her mom revealed her daughter’s favorite dish to the chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, Matthew Kleiner-Mann, during Children’s Mental Health Week.
“She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day,” he explained. “One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff. Food is important to her and she understands the links between mental health and physical exercise.”
Kate also revealed her kids love to eat different types of foods at home. One particular dish she likes to cook for them is curry. “The children have a portion with no spice,” she admitted in early October during her visit to the Aga Khan Centre in London with William. “Charlotte is pretty good with heat.”
William, George and Louis, however, are still not used to eating spicy foods like the women in their family. “I love spice but not heat,” Kate said.
We hope when Halloween comes around that Kate shares a bunch of pictures of her family to Instagram!
