Two months away from her due date, a pregnant Kate Middleton has some exciting news to share — she is expecting twin girls with husband Prince William! Sources revealed to Life & Style that the Duchess of Cambridge has already told close family and friends she is having a double bundle of joy.

William, 35, and Kate “couldn’t be happier about their double-baby news,” a source said. “She’s been telling pals that she’s thrilled to be pregnant with two little princesses and has been proudly showing the sonogram to those closest to her.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The image features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year. The photograph shows The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their two children at Kensington Palace. The Willcocks Nursery School has said: "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January."

At her most recent sonogram, Kate, 36, was able to see her identical girls in action. “One of the babies was calm and relaxed, whereas the other had endless energy,” the source added. “In a way, Kate feels like she got an idea of what the girls’ personalities are like! Kate jokes that the active baby is a ‘drama queen in the making.’”

The girls will join older brother Prince George, 4, and sister Princess Charlotte, 2, at Kensington Palace — and the royal couple is going to have their hands full. “Having children is life-changing,” William previously said. “I adore my children very much.” And we can expect Queen Elizabeth — or “Gan-Gan” as she is called by George — to also be excited about gaining two new great-grandchildren.

“The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl,” Kate revealed in the documentary Our Queen at Ninety last year, “and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington she was one of our first visitors here. I think she’s very fond of Charlotte. She’s always watching what she’s up to.” Kate continued, “She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family.” The twins are expected to arrive sometime in April. Congrats to the royal family!
