Keep calm and carry on, Kate Middleton! As the world eagerly awaits the arrival of Prince William and Kate’s third royal baby, the 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge is unfortunately “stressing out” about the impending birth of her newest prince or princess. “The past few weeks have been extremely hectic for Kate,” a palace insider recently told Life & Style. “And she’s freaking out about all the things she needs to get done before the [baby arrives].”

Though Kate — who is already a mom to four-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with husband William — is now officially on maternity leave, the royal is still busy preparing for her third child’s impending birth. “Kate finished the nursery months ago, but she’s had a change of heart about the design and wants to redecorate it,” the source shared.

“She’s also frantically shopping for baby clothes because she decided to get new outfits instead of using only hand-me-downs,” the insider said. Though William, 35, has been helping his wife with as much as possible, life for the Cambridges has been nothing short of hectic in recent months.

“She’s not only stressing herself out — she’s stressing out William, too,” the insider explained. “But he just keeps reminding Kate that she should be excited. He’s doing his best to help her relax.”
