It appears that Kate Middleton will be debuting a different look in the coming weeks. The Duchess has reportedly fired her long-time hairdresser James Pryce after he used photos of her to promote his business, according to the UK newspaper The Telegraph.

Pryce has served as Kate’s hairdresser since 2003, and once she got engaged to William in 2010 he became apart of her official style team. He created the infamous wedding demi-chignon style that had everyone raving plus accompanied the couple on their North American tour in the summer of 2011.

But it looks like the relationship between Pryce and Kate, which he once described as being “built on trust and discretion,” is now tarnished due to his business choices. In an effort to make a name for himself after leaving the Richard Ward salon in 2011, Pryce began posting pictures of Kate’s hairdos on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, a source tells The Telegraph.

The insider also reveals that “Richard Ward still cuts Kate’s hair and she has her color done at the salon. Plus, she has her stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, who blow dries her hair for events, but [Pryce] has really been pushed out.”

It’s a big gig for the hairdresser to lose, who previously called Kate’s wedding day “the most important day of my career.” There’s no word yet on whether Kate has hired a new hair-stylist to help with her upcoming engagements.
