From their quality time together with Prince George to their fun chats at public events, it's clear to see that Kate Middleton and her husband's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth share a pretty special bond! And since they always get along so well in public, we can only imagine how much fun they have as a family behind the cameras!
The Duchess of Cambridge confirmed that she and the Queen have a great relationship in the documentary Our Queen at Ninety.
"She's been so generous and not sort of being forceful at all in her views," Kate said. "I feel she's been a gentle guidance really for me."
She even told an incredibly heartwarming story about getting a Christmas gift for Prince William's grandmother.
"I was worried what to give the Queen as her Christmas present. I thought back to what would I give my own grandparents and thought, 'I'll make her something,' which could have gone horribly wrong. I decided to make my granny's recipe of chutney," she recalled.
"I was slightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table," she said. " I think such a simple gesture went a long way for me and I've noticed since she's done that on lots of occasions. I think it just shows her thoughtfulness, really."
