Can Kate Middleton please just wear a tiara at all times?!
The 34-year-old Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in Princess Diana's Lover's Knot headpiece for the third time at the palace's annual winter party on Dec. 5. Kate was also dripping in diamond earrings and a necklace, and her white gown appeared to be covered in crystals as well. She looked absolutely stunning for the white-tie affair, and we're sure the image would bring a tear to Diana's eye.

Her third appearance with the bedazzled crown came almost exactly one year from the second, which was at the royal family's annual diplomatic reception at London's Buckingham Palace on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. Somehow, she just gets more and more beautiful every year!
For that special event, the soon to be mom-of-three — who was joined by her husband, Prince William, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Queen Elizabeth, and Prince Philip — donned a gorgeous, red, Jenny Packham dress. She previously wore the gown to her first royal state banquet in October 2015.
In December 2015, Kate sported her late mother-in-law's pearl and diamond tiara to the yet another diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace. Diana famously wore the Lover's Knot headpiece to the State Opening of Parliament in November 1981, and it has been a fan favorite every time we've seen it since!
