Pregnant Kate Middleton Reveals She’s Feeling Well Enough to Drop Son Prince George off at School!

How exciting! Kate Middleton has been suffering from severe morning sickness for most of her third pregnancy so far, but the Duchess recently revealed she’s now feeling well enough to drop son Prince George off at school! “As a mother, just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child. Whether we are school leavers, teachers, support staff or parents we are all in this together,” the 35-year-old royal said at a charity even in London on Wednesday, Nov. 8, according to People.

Kate sadly had to miss four-year-old George’s first day of school back in September due to her battle with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The mom-of-two and her husband, Prince William, had announced they are expecting their third baby — due in April 2018! — just a few days prior on Monday, Sept. 4. At the time, Kensington Palace confirmed Kate would be absent from the milestone event via Twitter. “Prince George will this morning attend his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea, accompanied by his father, The Duke of Cambridge,” the message read. A royal insider later told the Daily Mail, “The Duchess wanted more than anything to be there. It’s a big day for her son. But she has been really very sick this week. But William proved to be the perfect support for his firstborn, dropping him off in the family’s Range Rover and walking him right to his classroom.”

Earlier this year, Kate and William’s decision to enroll George at London’s Thomas’s Battersea made major headlines, as the choice was a break in royal tradition. Many royal experts believed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would have sent their eldest child to Wetherby Preparatory School, where William and his brother, Prince Harry, attended as boys. According to another Daily Mail report, Kate and William simply want George to have a “normal” school experience at Thomas’s Battersea.

“It’s very important to both of them that George enjoys as normal a childhood as possible, particularly as he settles into a new school, and for them, this includes dropping him off at the school gates,” a source previously told the outlet. “Kate wants George — and later daughter Princess Charlotte — to have the same school experience that she did as a child. Both she and William very much agree on this and think George will be very, very happy there.”

The $6,900-per-term school currently has 544 day pupils, aged between four and 13. Upholding a set of core values — kindness, courtesy, confidence, humility, and learning to be givers, not takers — the elite school holds an impressive record of senior school entrance and scholarship successes. In fact, the Tatler Schools Guide says the “cream of the Battersea crop rises to the likes of Eton and Wycombe Abbey.” We’re sure George is receiving a wonderful education there!
