There are quite a few royal visits happening in 2016!

The Kensington Palace confirmed on Friday, Jan. 8 that Kate Middleton and Prince William will be visiting Bhutan this upcoming spring — a venture that will coincide with their previously announced visit to India.

“The visit is being carried out at the request of Her Majesty’s Government and will be the first time Their Royal Highnesses have visited the country,” the palace wrote.

Prince Charles was the first British royal to journey to the East Asian Buddhist kingdom in 1998. Since then only Prince Andrew visited in 2010.

Though few details have been revealed about the couple’s trip at this time, it seems their two children, Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 8 months, will not be joining the them on their visit!

Those aren’t the only royal affairs happening this year, though. The palace also announced that William’s brother, Prince Harry, has a special trip of his own planned.

“This spring Prince Harry will make an official visit to Nepal at the request of Her Majesty’s Government. It will be the first time His Royal Highness has visited the country,” the palace confirmed as well.
